Dermal fillers can be used to smooth away facial lines and wrinkles, create fuller lips and shape facial contours. The most common areas treated are:
Marionette lines at the corner of the mouth
Nasolabial lines (smile lines) that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth
Lip contouring
Cheek enhancements
Nose bridge augmentation
Chin augmentation
Depressed acne scars

Generally, pain relief is not necessary when injecting dermal fillers. Some patients find the injections only cause a mild ant-bite sensation during the procedure. A topical numbing cream can also be applied prior to the injection for a more comfortable treatment experience.

After an injection, mild reactions may occur at the site(s) of injection:
Redness / Swelling / Itching / Bruising / Slight Tenderness
These reactions are generally mild to moderate and usually disappear within 3-5 days after injection.

Dermal fillers are biodegradable, which means they will naturally disappear in the body.
Depending on the skin condition, site of injection and type of filler used, results last from 3-9 months. As such, after the initial treatment, follow-up sessions are normally recommended every 6-12 months.

Dermal fillers are based on Hyaluronic acid (HA) , a substance that naturally exists in your body, thus reducing the risk of an allergic reaction. In addition, they are biodegradable, which means that they will naturally disappear in the body.
